Report Violations

1. Purpose

At Swee, we are committed to creating a safe, respectful, and engaging community for all users. To maintain these standards, we empower our users to report violations of our Community Guidelines and Terms of Service. This policy outlines how users can report violations and what to expect from our review process.

2. What to Report

Users are encouraged to report content or behavior that violates Swee’s policies, including but not limited to:

  • Hate Speech: Content targeting individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or other protected attributes.

  • Harassment and Bullying: Abusive, threatening, or intentionally harmful behavior.

  • Explicit Content: Pornography, nudity, or sexually explicit material.

  • Illegal Activity: Promotion or engagement in illegal activities, including drug use, gambling, or hacking.

  • Misinformation: False or misleading information that could harm users or the public.

  • Dangerous Content: Incitement of violence, self-harm, or other harmful acts.

  • Spam and Scams: Fraudulent content or unauthorized promotions.

3. How to Report Violations

Swee provides an easy-to-use reporting feature accessible from within the app. Follow these steps:

  1. Locate the Content: Navigate to the post, comment, or profile that violates Swee’s guidelines.

  2. Tap “Report”: Use the report option available in the app interface.

  3. Select a Reason: Choose the appropriate reason from the list provided.

  4. Provide Additional Information (Optional): Add details or context to help our review team understand the violation.

  5. Submit the Report: Confirm your report for processing.

4. Anonymity of Reporters

To protect users, all reports submitted to Swee are anonymous. The reported user will not know the identity of the reporter unless required by law.

5. Review Process

Once a report is submitted, it will go through the following process:

  1. Acknowledgment: Users will receive a confirmation that their report has been received.

  2. Initial Review: The report will be reviewed by our automated systems or a moderation team within 72 hours.

  3. In-Depth Investigation: If necessary, a manual review will be conducted to ensure fairness and accuracy.

  4. Action Taken: Depending on the violation, actions may include:

    • Content removal.

    • Temporary or permanent account suspension.

    • Warning notifications to the violator.

Note: In some cases, no action may be taken if the content does not violate our policies.

6. Notification of Outcomes

Users who submit a report will be notified of the outcome through the app. However, to protect user privacy, specific details of the action taken may not be disclosed.

7. Misuse of Reporting Feature

Swee takes misuse of the reporting system seriously. Reports submitted with malicious intent, false claims, or to harass others may result in penalties, including:

  • Account warnings.

  • Restriction of reporting privileges.

  • Suspension or termination of the reporter’s account.

8. Appeals

Users who disagree with actions taken on their account as a result of a report can appeal the decision:
